My friend Jason and I went to Utah the last week of March, 2003. We slept two nights Zion National Park and hiked the trail you can see on the map. We started from the footbridge in the canyon in the southeast corner of the map. We set up camp roughly where the black triangles are, at the end of the blue trail and the red trail. The third day we hiked back down to where we started.
Here's a quality image gallery of Zion National Park. We camped on the snow and trudged through miles of unbroken snow, enjoying the beautiful solitude and the manliness of being the only ones up on the top.
